(Hôtel Garance)

Hotel Garance is great if you are just looking for a no frills hotel. The room had been somewhat recently renovated/updated. There are no extra amenities such as soap in bathroom or complementary water in room. The room was looked clean however when hotel staff would come in and complete their routine cleaning throughout the stay they left behind an unpleasant smell which seemed to be a dirty vacuum smell. Overall, the hotel is a good value and provides a comfortable place to land after long days exploring Paris.

really HOT, no AC

The staff were friendly but the hotel is old, dirty, under construction which made it dusty and noisy. The outside was dirty as well, not welcoming in any sense.

Staff was very friendly. The light breakfast was free because of reservations which was convenient. We did find the air conditioning wouldn’t work most of the time so it did get a little hot.

It was a nice stay with friendly staff

Good location

Lovely spotless room, friendly helpful staff, and great breakfast for a reasonable price!

Lovely staff, very kind. Comfortable bed Quiet. Room could use some updating but it is fine for a few days great location The hallways (black wallpaper) is a bit depressing- needs some brightness and updating

Did not match the service and welcome of other 2 star hotels
