We absolutely loved our stay here! Great location, beautiful room , the staff was great and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Great location and very clean and nice hotel

Great hotel - quality of room, cleanliness, staff were brilliant and so helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again - also great location on the river near the Uffizi.

Location, views and balcony were great. Service from staff was great also.

Great location just a few minutes walk from Uffizi Gallery. The balcony room was comfy and had a nice view of the river. Very helpful staff.

Very nice and warm service, breakfast was also great and included. Definitely will stay again if back to Florence.

Excellent location very nice staff We had an issue upon check-in, but they were able to deal with it and accommodate us. Be very, very careful when booking to make sure that you book the hotel and not the separate apartments.

Beautiful and elegant hotel in a perfect location, close to most of the famous sightseeing locations, all within walking distance. A very tasty breakfast included with a huge selection, cereal and fruit, continental or cooked breakfast. Rooms and service were perfect.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Balestri in Florence. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was incredible every morning—fresh juices, perfectly scrambled eggs, spectacular bacon, and great yogurts. The bar was fantastic too; the bartender mixed excellent cocktails. Rooms are on the smaller side, which is expected in a building from the 1860s, but that’s a minor note. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of everything. Highly recommended!

Lovely, historic hotel. Quiet and calm amidst the beautiful clamor and turbulence of Florence. Our 10 year-old daughter loved having half the family suite to herself. Only two suggestions: 1) the sight of housekeeping trolleys left in hallways is jarring in a 4-star hotel. Isn’t there a housekeeping closet where they can be stored when not in use? 2) with the exception of the lady who greeted us on arrival, the front desk and bell staff was more functional than warm.
