I was charged 1800 euros for a glimpse of the canal in a small room which was over the noisy entrance and gondola parking area . Room service and housekeeping were extremely slow. Front desk helpful

满意 Beautiful hotel, steeped in history set in an incredible central location very close to St Marks Square. Fantastic staff and service, with the property itself like a museum. The reason for the low rating is the misleading marketing of the hotel. Despite pictures on the hotels website and featured on Expedia, depicting a wonderful roof terrace overlooking the water - this is not available unless a specific suite is booked or private event organised. Also, whilst the hotel is very well located for private airport transfers, this is not included in the price of the booking (upwards of €150+ each way), which again we felt is incorrectly depicted on Expedia (Expedia did provide a level compensation when this was raised).

It's a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The Expedia website says that there "is a shuttle service to the airport" which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel since we flew out the next day; however, there is no shuttle service and the hotel staff was very confused about why we thought there would be a shuttle service to the airport.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are amazing. This was our first time in Venice and we enjoyed everything about it. Sightseeing and shopping was out of this world 🌎
