From check-in to check-out the staff were friendly, helpful and present. That may seem obvious but I’ve been at hotels where the staff seem to rarely be around. The room and bathroom were spotless and cleaned every day. We didn’t make use of the pool or restaurant so can’t really comment there. Room temp was good, bed comfortable, and the coffee maker had actually good coffee pods. We also appreciated the location - short walk to all the esplanade activities and wharf, Rusty’s, Woolies, etc. plus being such a tall hotel it was easy to find again.

The property was really lovely and the staff attentive. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown although it was only $28 if you booked the day before. Unfortunately the pool was really cold and therefore no really enjoyable. I asked reception about turning on the heater but the maintenance guy told me the don’t usually put it on as it gets all day sun . I would still stay here again as it was a lovely property.

Room was very clean and staff is friendly. Very close to many places that you can easily walk to. If you are driving you can pay for parking at the hotel or on side streets

We were very impressed with this hotel from the moment we walked in. There was a lovely ambience and it was a great place to stay. We had a 2 bed apartment which was well equipped for our family group. We used both hotel pools which were clean and just warm enough to enjoy. We also discovered the lagoon at the seafront which was perfect for our toddler. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very willing to help. We were recommended to stay here by good friends and will be recommending it ourselves after our visit. We would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. You have be aware the pool doesn’t get much sunshine and you can’t turn the aircon down past 21 degrees which was a bit warm for me. Otherwise these are really modern hotel rooms for Cairns!

We stayed in the residence. It was nice to have the extra room, kitchen, and laundry. Clean and comfortable stay. The AC could have been better. The steakhouse was not very good and overpriced. We had a better meal at the Paper Crane at the Riley down the street, and also at the Hilton.
