The Valverde is a truly beautiful boutique hotel and an unforgettable place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such a lovely greeting, which immediately set the tone for our visit. The service throughout our stay was absolutely perfect—warm, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. The hotel itself is an experience in quest luxury - refined, elegant and modern. We loved all of the artwork and retro details. The fabric choices were so rich and lush, which gave the space so much character. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wonderful buffet offering plenty of delicious options. We didn’t have dinner onsite but the cocktails were fabulous. Everything about Hotel Valverde felt carefully considered. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing boutique hotel experience.

Excellent all around!

With its beautiful public areas, lots of Art books for reading, courtyard restaurant and pool this was a perfect hotel in the heart of Lisbon with easy walking to the old part of town. The staff were friendly. My room was available an hour before official check in time. I had a corner room with lots of light facing the court yard. I was greeted with a hand written note and a box with two Portuguese tarts when I got to my room. I swam in the pool. It is just long enough to swim a five stroke lap which I was able to do as I was the only one in the pool. I ate dinner both nights in the restaurant and the food and ambiance were lovely.

Great location and wonderful staff.

Excellent experience! Staff were great and the property was immaculate. The little touches each day, like coming back to curtains already drawn for us and a hand written note with tomorrow’s weather was lovely.

The reception staff is lovely especially Ricardo. The room was a total disappointment. There is a nightclub next door and you can hear the party nonstop every evening. Breakfast was so so. The staff is really disorganized and there was one gentleman super attentive but rest of the staff was a bit rude. You’d order orange juice and never get it! We did 5 days of this and while the location is convenient there are better hotel options with top service, comfort and amenities. This hotel was a real disappointment for the brand. They didn’t think through the details.

Lovely property right in the middle of all the action. Staff were excellent - warm, welcoming and professional. Breakfast choices were plentiful - the Eggs Benedict very tasty - with fresh squeezed juices, and great coffee. Our highest recommendation is that we will stay there again on our next visit to Lisbon.

Stylish, centrally located hotel with helpful staff. The only negative was the restaurant, which, unusually for a Relais and Chateau property, wasn't good. The food was heavy and tasteless, and the music was so loud it was hard to hold a conversation. Breakfast, however, was fine.
