This is a great hotel just steps away from one of the entrances to Daan Metro station on the red and brown lines. The room was really nice and very comfortable. There is no bar/lounge in the hotel, but there is a very decent restaurant on the main floor. My 3-star rating for the staff is due to one issue I experienced prior to arriving. They were very helpful in offering a shuttle from the airport. I missed a message where they asked how big my carry-on luggage was, and whether it was a suitcase or rucksack (it's carry-on folks, it can't be too big) . Anyway, I replied the day before we were arriving but was told I was required to reply a week before that! Like, really? That left a sour taste in my mouth. They were more than willing to arrange a shuttle back to the airport when we checked out with a day's notice! Regardless of this peculiar-ness, don't take their shuttle anyway - their "special rate" is more expensive than an Uber!

Rooms were clean and well appointed. The bed was harder than I like and feather pillows, but the room was kept clean. There is a nice lounge on level 2 which gave you room to relax and even eat take out food.

The location is great. The staff is nice. The lighting of the room is terrible. There is no switch to control the lights. You have to use computer by the bed to turn on/off the light. I hate the lighting so much that I would not go back to this hotel! There is no night light. If you have to go to the restroom at night, you have to turn on ALL bathroom lights, not one or two. No options! It’s central control by the bedside computer! All lights are on which blinds your eyes. Can you imagine that you have to turn on the bedside light to see the little computer in order to look for the correct button to turn on the bathroom lights! What’s an ordeal! It will be nice if they can provide microwave in the new lounge. The furniture is cheap! The new renovation is poorly cheaply done which is a shame!

This is our 2nd stay in this hotel since the location is convenient for getting to the public transportations. Staffs are friendly and provide the professional service. We will choose this hotel again for next trip to Taipei

It is a reasonably priced, clean and no-frill business hotel. Excellent location and welcoming staff. If you don't need to eat a big breakfast buffet, this is a great choice. Lots of restaurants nearby and it is at the junction of 2 subway lines. Highly recommend it.

Great hotel and friendly staff. Convenient location too, although won’t recommend the restaurant. Plenty good places to eat in Taipei. Will stay again for my annual travel.
