Avoid staying here if you can afford a nicer place. Sure, the hotel is near the main train/metro terminal, but we used buses as our main form of transportation. The lobby needs to be updated. The flooring and seating are very worn. The bathroom sink did not drain, the toilet seat shifted while you were using it, the hotel provided one bottle of soap for hair and body, and we had no place to set toiletry bags while in the bathroom. The bed squeaked anytime someone moved, the room was hot, and we had no way to block the sun with about 20 hours of daylight. The staff were okay. We asked questions that were ususally answered. One question, though, stumped the person at the front desk: How much should a taxi cost to the airport? I would assume this is a common question. The worked did guesses at the answer. This was our fourth hotel in 12 days of our tour of Scandinavia. It was the worst. You have many other options. Stay elsewhere.

Great location, especially if you travel by train, clean rooms, wonderful complementary breakfast, overall stay was great and we recommend staying there, you won’t be disappointed

Convenient location for travelers with good price. Room is clean. There was a bathtub in my room.

Room much smaller than pictures, only one person fits in the bathroom at a time. Bed too soft, needs new mattress. Bathroom drain clogged up and hair in sink. Dead bugs in window upon arrival in room. Shower drain not secure, my wife stepped in shower and drain came off and she hurt her foot and ankle. Terrace in poor shape!!!! Paint wood and at least have 2 chairs and a small table fir guest. Breakfast coffee needs to be better, gad to ho around the corner for decent coffee. Pros- Great location, breakfast food good, staff very nice.

Location

We opted for the smaller sized rooms mainly because it was the cheaper option. The room was very clean and it was completely adequate for what we needed. Slight downside to the smaller room was there wasn’t a table or anywhere to put anything. We made it work, but for some, this could be problematic. The pressure of the water in the shower was pretty decent. They aren’t offering cleaning services for short stays currently, but if you need anything, the staff would be able to help you out. Despite the hotel have some members of staff on strike (mainly housekeeping and restaurant staff), the rest of the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Location of the hotel was fantastic. Everything is practically on your doorstep! Oslo itself isn’t very big and we managed to walk to everything. For others, the bus stop/tram stop is easily accessible and just up the street from the hotel. The bus terminus and train station are about a ten minutes walk away. The room didn’t come with tea/coffee making facilities but after reading somebody else’s review, the reception staff provided us with a kettle, no problem. Breakfast had a lovely variety of options which would suit most people. There was even a gluten free section, away from the other foods meaning they catered for people with dietary issues. Overall, the hotel had what we needed and was clean. Friendly staff, from reception to the restaurant staff. Lovely hotel.

Everything was very clean. Breakfast was everything you needed, and better than other comfort hotels across Norway. Location was very good. Hotel workers were on strike during our state, which led to increased paid times at the reception when checking in and asking for things. Would stay here again.
