Lovely, old and quirky property. Staff were lovely and breakfast was superb. 10 minutes walk from the train station and trains to Venice, Milan, Brescia, Bologna and Padua, 10 minutes walk from old city centre. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Nice room with character especially the old timber beams, good location with only a 5-10 min walk to the arena and old town. Equally just a 10 min walk from the bus station/train station

Fabulous location with friendly & helpful staff. Continental breakfast was good, 1 specialist coffee per person, per day permitted at no extra charge. Kettle & herbal teas available 24/7 in upstairs lounge area although it would have been nice to have a set in our room along with coffee / milk etc. Clean room, really comfortable bed & powerful shower. All in all a great stay & would recommend - please note reception closes at 8pm & you have to let yourself in with a code , not an issue as easy to follow instructions.

Such a cool hotel with an interesting history! I looked it up after I had a bit of a ghostie spooky experience there hahaha But a very nice well kept hotel that’s very convenient.

Good room which was spotlessly clean and friendly staff - great location in the centre of Verona just a short walk from the busy areas and supermarkets. Lovely mezzanine area with chairs and books to chill out on. Where this hotel could improve and have five stars is improving its breakfast options to that which are both cooked and savoury as it’s currently a rather meagre offering. Also, little details matter like having a basic kettle in the room and a powerful hairdryer. These aren’t expensive amenities to have as standard, but they matter a lot to travellers - we hope this review was helpful and would recommend this hotel to others.
