We stayed here our last night in Iceland. Great hotel close to airport. Good restaurant for dinner and nice breakfast buffet. Note: the hotel shuttle only goes TO the airport and generally runs only early morning. Let the front desk know the time you need the shuttle when you check in. A day earlier we had to take a taxi back to the hotel after we dropped off our rental car. Cost about $25 for a 5 minute trip.

Only issue- front desk told us we did not need to be at airport 3 hrs before-sais it was a small airport. Not true if going out of D gate. Shuttle got us there about 2 hrs and 10 minutes before flight. Was just enough time so quite stressful
