Great hotel for transit. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful shower pressure, and it was great having so many food options walking distance near by. The only negative was that the walls were paper thin & we could hear people arriving late at night and talking on the phone for long periods of time.

I would not stay here again. During our stay, my child developed multiple itchy bites and facial swelling that required a visit to a doctor. The doctor diagnosed it as an allergic reaction consistent with insect bites. We provided the hotel with photos and medical documentation and reported the issue immediately. What disappointed us most was the hotel’s response. We were told that the investigation would be delayed because it was the weekend, and after waiting two days, the hotel concluded that there was no direct evidence linking the room to the incident. As a result, no action or compensation was offered. I understand that proving the exact source of insect bites can be difficult. However, when a guest presents medical documentation involving a child’s health, I would expect a more proactive and customer-focused response. Instead, I felt our concerns were dismissed. The location may be convenient, but cleanliness, guest safety, and customer service are far more important. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to families traveling with children.

Rooms were nice and had a good shower. Check in could have been smoother with a little more information given. Nice to have free shuttle to and from airport. Soundproofing wasn’t the greatest, with hearing people next door talking. Overall, not bad for a night or two for flights out of Shanghai.
