We travel as a couple, the facilities are conveniently located at the entrance of the Keisei Skyliner exit at Ueno. A short walking distance to the Ueno Train Station (its big), and other atractions. You can easily move around Tokio from there. This is important if you come in a rainy season. My only observations, no self laundry on premises, you need to do a walk of 15 min. And they require to clean your room at least every three days. I requested an specific hour, and they didnt do it. They were confused and when I came back, my room was not cleaned. I needed to work, and had to wait an extra hour for them to clean. Bathroom is small, but good. Every day, they leave outside (when they dont clean, fresh towels, bath robes and coffee/tea. In general, its a good location and facilities. Breakfast has Japanese menu and limited additional, but is was worth it. Would stay again for sure.

Location was perfect for us since the hotel is just right outside the Skyliner Keisei Ueno station. Coming from and going to Narita airport, the hotel location is very accessible. A little heads-up though...if you're going on an overnight trip and planning on leaving your luggages at the hotel (since you're checking in again in the next days) this APA hotel branch does not allow you to leave the luggages overnight. We did this in our past Japan trips and the hotels were ok with it. Even this branch, we were able to leave our bags for a few days since we went to Yokohama. I think they changed their policy on this. Anyways, there are coin lockers at the station.

There are only two elevators. Long wait time to up and down.

Some parts of the room were dusty. Otherwise overall it was ok.

Staff are friendly. Hotel is clean and tidy. Super close to keisei ueno station. Location is excellent
