The location of this property is excellent and that was the main reason we booked this hotel and the onsen skyspa. However - American travelers beware, you can NOT wear a bathing suit in the onsen - it is nude only. I understand this is the culture but the hotel should emphasize that when booking. I chose this hotel over others for the sky spa and didn’t use it. In addition, this property needs some serious upgrades and cleaning. The main entry way was always dirty and set the tone. The main lobby area was well maintained and beautiful but when you get to the elevators that’s where it ends. Elevator, hallway to rooms and rooms all need refreshed and well cleaned. Our bathrooms were so small felt like on a cruise ship or dorm room. And there was black mold around the bottom rim of tubs. The lounges were badly stained and very dirty. There was a bad smell in the rooms. If it wasn’t for the location, I would rate this 2 stars overall.

It is very convenient connecting with JR train station and easy access to USJ. Also Good hot sauna and hot tub

Stank of smoke in lobby due to bizarre smoking room, room was absolutely TINY. Staff said there were no hairdryers available, parking cost a fortune.

Amazing hotel that’s extremely close to USJ. Perfect for when you’ve been walking around USJ all day and can literally just walk 2 mins to your hotel. The sky spa is incredible, if you’re nervous about it

Great location, comfy beds and good size bedroom. Bathroom felt quite dated, and marked down for breakfast. It felt like it was a school canteen, wouldn't recommend for the future. Ideal for USJ.

We had a great stay! Probably more like 4.5 stars. Pros: - Location: steps from the subway station, convenience stores, and Universal City walk (with all its shops and restaurants). Was even closer to USJ and subway than I thought. - Nice staff, overall nice amenities. - Great view (we had a corner room). - Spa included and open all night long (but beware of some specific rules in Japan). Cons: - Room smaller than I thought for a corner one. When one person stays by the bed, it is hard for another one to squeeze between them and the wall. However, this is Japan and probably expected. - Laundry. Beware of long waits (only 5 machines for a large hotel) and the driers DO NOT DRY. I got a load through 5 drier cycles and it remained very damp. So I would just skip having your laundry done there. On a bright side, waiting for my laundry made me enjoy a few rounds of late-night spa. :) Funny: - Upon check in, I was offered an "upgrade" to "western-style" bathroom. A.k.a. a prolonged toiled without bidet. :) It must be some kind of joke between hotel's staff. No opinion: - Breakfast. Japanese style is just not for us. Also prices looked on a higher side. But people were lining up every morning. Lots of Japanese people stay there to visit USJ.

Less than 1 minute from the train station. Amazing breakfast. Very helpful staff. Spa is pretty nice as well. Smaller but well kept room.

Hotel room was a decent size for the price and very conveniently located within a minute of the train station and minutes from USJ.

Clean room, helpful staff, nice hot bath

Excellent location for Universal Studios, can't get much closer! This hotel is above the station and connected directly to city walk. Being connected to the station also makes it easy to access Osaka and we enjoyed 1 day at USJ and 2 city days. Staff were friendly and helpful but nothing standout (good or bad!) room was quite dated but fine. I'd compare to a premier inn by UK equivalent, which is on par with the price paid so fair and we'd stay again if visiting USJ.
