For the price it is perfect! The staff were great and location close enough to action you can get to it but not sleeping in it. The only issue is with electrical power and internet. They have a backup generator so it's not too big of a deal but with all the improvements made locally, the power grid needs some serious attention which is being a burden on local businesses and travelers alike.

An amazing property with very helpful staff, free breakfast was better than most other places I had breakfast at, room was excellent and would definitely stay here again.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Great location, far enough away from all the noise, yet everything is within walking distance. The room was nice with a great ocean view.

I would first like to thank the wonderful staff at Montina, friendly, pleasant, helpful every one of them. The facilities were good, nothing fancy especially if one is used to Western standards but very comfortable, very clean, everything one would need including excellent A/C, comfy bed, very nice big, spacious shower, good lighting, nice, cold mini fridge, free drinking water and that was in a "budget room." Good restaurant with plenty of choices, ice cold beer at the open air bar/restaurant/pool area. Great roof top deck with really nice view of the town and ocean. Overall, I was impressed for my stay, 2nd place I've visited and stayed in the Philippines on a 6-8 month trip and I would recommend this property highly. For foreigners, especially many of my fellow Americans, as I've traveled now on my 5th continent, the Philippines and many other countries are not the same as you may be used to and things are just different. Please keep that in an open mind and you will have a great time.

Water damage all over walls. No reason not to pain it up.

I like the place, its very spacious, clean and i really love the shower. We’ll stay here at montani beach resorts again😊

The staff were all polite and helpful the location and pool are good, but the room had a lot of moisture damage and mold and needed to be repaired and the molding building materials repalced. The water pressure was decent, overall a decent hotel
