Exceptional experience with both amenities and efficiency of staff

Wonderful hotel and very close to restaurants and sites on the Bund.

A great location, away from noisy areas, and convenient to get anywhere. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

Room is not ventilated, was extremely stuffy and air-conditioning not working. But staff was friendly and after several discussion, offered to upgrade to another room type which allow us to open the window for more ventilation. Breakfast can be quite messy and chaotic when it's crowded, they should have better managed the crowd.

We absolutely loved the Sofitel. From the moment you enter, you know you are in luxury central: the sparkling chandeliers and the polished marble floors lure you into a world where every detail of your stay has been considered and prioritised. From the high thread count linen sheets to the refined and tasteful decor, you feel extremely cherished. The staff are restrained and respectful while being impeccable in their service delivery. The position is just a short walk from the promenade of the bund and we walked everywhere from there. Oh and best not to forget how splendid the breakfast is….one of the best buffets I have ever had!

Hotel ist Top. Zimmer sehr großzügig und sauber. Bad und Bett alles tip-top. Früchstücks-buffett sehr vielfältig und super qualität. Warme gerichte direkt zubereitet. Lage perfekt, in nur 15min. zum Bund. Einfach dem Kanal entlang und man kommt direkt beim Paulaner raus. Weg sehr sicher. Leider bietet Hotel keinen Pool, daher stern abzug.
