The front desk staff were helpful and friendly and came to our room to show us around. The pool area has several different seating areas and was well used by the guests. The hotel is in a very central spot and minutes away from the train station. I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Florence!

This hotel is spectacular. Everybody in our group loved it. It has the best view from the rooftop pool. Book it, you won’t regret it.

We stayed in the Romance Suite, it was VERY spacious, two bathrooms, comfortable bed, sitting area, and a balcony - though not wide enough to sit, it was long enough to walk. Rooftop pool with lots of space to lounge and get a drink at the rooftop bar. Very classy and high quality throughout. Good location, quiet. Amazing staff.

This was an exceptional place to stay while in Florence. The city was very crowded with tourists and general city density and the Grand Hotel Minerva felt like an oasis of space. We had a beautiful view overlooking a spacious piazza and the facade of the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella. The pool was lovely and offered an epic view of the duomo. Every staff person we encountered provided exceptional service and friendliness. Plus the building is architecturally significant (designed by Carlo Scarpa) which my husband enjoyed. Breakfast was a generous buffet with plenty of options for everyone. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel and location. Minutes walk from the Train Station. Was upgraded on arrival which was a great touch, friendly staff and good choice of Buffet Breakfast. Small Roof Top Swimming Pool and Bar, which is rare in the area. Florence is stunning and great for Designer Shopping.
