We had a great stay on our mother daughter trip to Takayama. The location was perfect for getting around on foot close to many great landmarks. Our room had a beautiful view and was one of the biggest rooms we stayed in on our Japan trip. The onsen was a treat and the breakfast staff and front desk were so helpful and very kind. We loved our stay!

Great location, lovely Onsen. Spotlessly clean. Bathrooms were small and pillows a bit hard but otherwise a fantastic choice!

Extrêmement satisfaite de cet hôtel à Takayama ! Son emplacement est parfait, à quelques pas de la rue principale, ce qui permet de tout faire facilement à pied. Le service était excellent du début à la fin, avec un personnel attentionné et chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner était absolument magnifique, varié et délicieux, un vrai plaisir chaque matin. L’onsen est également exceptionnel : bain chaud intérieur et extérieur, bain froid ainsi qu’un sauna parfaitement entretenu. Un véritable moment de détente après une journée de visite. J’y retournerais sans hésiter lors d’un prochain séjour à Takayama !

The onsen (public bath) on the top floor is wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. The downstairs lobby was small and the breakfast/dining area rather sterile with harsh lighting. Does not have a real lounge/bar area. However, plenty of great dining and bar options nearby.
