I usually don’t write long reviews but I wanted to show my gratitude for Cosmos Hotel Taipei’s excellent services in assisting me to handle a refund process. We had to change our booking to check out earlier because of the typhoon. The hotel staff showed great care and professionalism, and agreed to waive the penalty for changing my reservation. They patiently explained the procedure and promptly provided all requested information to Expedia. Special thanks goes to a member at the front desk who has helped me along this process! Without her assistance, I am probably still in the loophole of dealing with the booking site to initiate such request. Cosmos Hotel shows me a perfect example of genuine care and excellence in servicing clients.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to taipei main station, with a subway exit less than 50m from the entrance. The staff was very welcoming and the check-in was quick and efficient. The decoration style could be called trumpian in its unnecessary gilding, and feels really dated, but well maintained. The room was small, but well organized and with excellent soundproofing, and there was space for 3 small carry-on, but I was very happy not to have anything bigger. The matress were extremely hard (way too much for me), and there was also a distinct lack of outlet to charge all the electronics of a 3 person family. The breakfast was all you can eat, but not great in a city like Taipei, and we regretted taking it as there would have been cheaper option at a walking distance. All in all a conveniently located hotel, with good service, but it will not be a highlight of my stay.

There is a very large selection of breakfast items ranging from traditional Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine to Western cuisine. one of the staff, Angel, was very helpful and proactive in helping us when we had questions.

Fantastic experience! Cosmos hotel is centrally located and a short walk to the subway. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast is expansive and robust. The room was very large and had plenty of room for us to spread out. I highly recommend this hotel.

Customer Service - Very good and polite staff. Staff helped me upgraded my room, booked chartered taxi and airport transfer. Hotel Location: Very convenient - Next to Taipei MRT Station and HSR, Family Mart (ATM Machine). Unique amenities: Complimentary welcome drink at 17 cafe, happy hour snacks and drinks, complimentary breakfast included in room rate. Currency exchange available. Jade restaurant - disappointed food and service. It was supposed to close at 9:30pm, chef left at 9pm, no rice provided for my orders said chef gone for the night.
