Clean and moderately sized in an accessible area. Bathroom a bit smelly, and the ventilation could be better although it was a hot day.

Solo stay

The staff go above and beyond at the Nohga Hotel and were so helpful with any questions and requests. The hotel provides a pack with plenty of recommendations for restaurants and things to do with their own comment, and will help with booking if you need. The hotel also has its own restaurant and bakery both of which I would strongly recommend (including the breakfast) as well as a rooftop bar. Despite so much going on in the hotel there was never an issue with noise. Good location with no more than a 10 minute walk to Kiyomizu-Gojo train station, and a bus stop close by. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

The property is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I loved the robes and pajamas. The air conditioning was also great.

American visiting Japan, I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was incredibly convenient with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions, which made getting around so simple. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return again. Highly recommend! 🇯🇵
