Zoey was our tour guide on both days. She was very responsive and communicated well throughout the tour. Not only was she notifying and reminding us of the schedule the day before, showing up on time, but also follow up after each day's tour to answer our questions and provided recommendations. She is the best English speaking tour guide we had on our China trip compared to other tour guides. The weather was not great for both days, but she made the best out of it and kept us entertained and positive. Zoey had great energy throughout the two days and was flexible but also was able to maintain time management to keep the tour on schedule. We are lucky to have her as our lead. We would highly recommend that you ask to be on her tour.

Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie is absolutely breathtaking and one of the most unforgettable places to visit in China! The spectacular mountain views, winding mountain road, cable car ride, and famous Heaven's Gate are truly amazing. Walking along the glass skywalk is an exciting experience, especially for those who love adventure and stunning scenery. The natural beauty of the mountain is incredible and makes every step worthwhile. Be prepared for plenty of walking, and wear comfortable shoes.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful natural attractions in China! The towering sandstone pillars, lush green mountains, and spectacular landscapes make you feel like you're in another world. The scenery is truly incredible, especially when the mountains are surrounded by mist, creating a magical atmosphere. Exploring the park is an unforgettable experience, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy panoramic views and take amazing photos. Be prepared for lots of walking, so wearing comfortable shoes is a must.

Maliit lang ang aking inaasahan dahil ang nakikita ko lang sa mga video ay ang glass bridge at ang zipline, ngunit ang walking trail ay talagang napakaganda. Sa ngayon, ito ang paborito ko sa lahat ng nakita namin sa China.

This time visiting Zhangjiajie, I purposely planned an evening trip to the 72 Tujia Stilt Houses, and it completely exceeded my expectations! This 100-meter-tall building shines brilliantly against the night sky, feeling just like a real-life version of Spirited Away—both magnificent and full of mystery. The evening performances were wonderfully rich, and a few highlights left a deep impression on me: 1. Goddess Scattering Flowers I was blown away the moment I entered! An "immortal maiden" dressed in traditional costume descended slowly from the tall building on wires, her robes fluttering. Accompanied by beams of spotlights, it really looked like a goddess descending from the heavens, full of ethereal grace and making for amazing photo opportunities! 2. Folk Drumming and Torch Dance The atmosphere at the scene was incredibly lively. Performers in distinctive local attire played drums and performed with torches in front of the antique stage. The thunderous drumbeats reflecting against red lanterns possessed a primitive, wild beauty that got the blood pumping. 3. Thrilling Fire-Playing Acrobatics Watching the performers play with fire up close was so thrilling! Tongues of fire danced in the night sky with sparks flying everywhere. The performers' movements were as smooth as flowing water, showcasing exceptional skill that had us holding our breath while cheering aloud. 4. The Grand Finale: Molten Iron Fireworks 🌟🌟 This was definitely the highlight of the entire evening! When the 1,000-degree molten iron was struck into the air, it instantly burst into ten thousand golden blossoms, resembling a sky full of falling stars or a cascading golden waterfall. That magnificent spectacle of "fire trees and silver flowers turning the night into day" was even more breathtaking than fireworks, carrying a unique romance and ultimate beauty that belongs to traditional Chinese culture. Standing underneath to watch it, I actually got goosebumps from being so moved!

This was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I really enjoyed it. I arrived very early, which meant I was ahead of everyone. We were visiting Zhangjiajie and saw this as an activity to add after we walked around the town. Was a great cultural experience and reminded me of a Cirque du Soleil show. There were translations available for some things on the screens around which helped to understand what was being presented too. Make sure to stick around the the outside part as well.
