An amazing experience. Interactive artworks and installations that evoke emotion, thought, and a sense of wonder. We spent three hours there. The venue itself is well-designed and high-quality, with restrooms and vending machines on every floor. Highly recommended.

Everything was incredible, the service, the experience, the kindness. Haruka, our host, was the best; she took gorgeous photos of us and explained everything you asked about.

THIS WAS FANTASTIC! Not only was it affordable but it was funny, taught us so much and allowed my husband to step back into the ring even for a few seconds! An amazing time and I will definitely be recommending this experience to my clients and followers!

Ang karanasan ay masaya para sa buong pamilya. Hindi ito masyadong mahirap balatan ang kahoy, kahit para sa aking 8 taong gulang na anak. Pinili namin ang Sugi, Walnut, Sakura, at Purple Heart. Si Victor K. ay napakamatulungin, propesyonal, at matiyaga. Nagbigay siya ng malinaw na tagubilin at kapaki-pakinabang na pahiwatig upang makagawa ng magagandang chopsticks. Masasabi mong tunay niyang kinagigiliwan ang sining ng paggawa ng chopsticks. Ang personalized na pag-ukit ay isang masayang dagdag na nagustuhan naming lahat.

Very fun and informative experience, the staff is friendly and helpful. The host is charismatic and the experience of watching a live sumo show is priceless!! Recommended!! By the way they include drinks so you can enjoy the show and not worry about those yourself

Akemi was an absolute delight! We were lucky enough to have her all to ourselves as there were eight of us, which made the tour feel really personal and relaxed. Akemi was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and informative. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and really interesting. She also did a wonderful job interacting with our children and keeping them engaged throughout the tour. This was my first ever walking tour, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We learnt so much about Gion, its history and culture, and Akemi’s knowledge and lovely personality made it even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto, especially families. Thank you, Akemi, for such a wonderful experience!

We were the first guests to arrive for our 9:30 AM reservation, but we got to the shop at 9:20 AM. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind and spoke Chinese. Since we arrived early, we were able to start choosing our kimonos and sashes right away, and then head upstairs for styling. The Japanese stylists on the second floor who helped with dressing, makeup, and hair were also very friendly. The kimonos available were all super beautiful, with various fabrics, making it so hard to choose! The lady on the first floor also helped us pair the perfect sash and accessories, and her aesthetic sense was spot on. (Plus, the stylist on the second floor was super fast; my hair was done in no time!) Overall, it was quick and professional, and the experience was excellent. If we ever come back to Kiyomizu-dera, we'll definitely visit again!

A little apprehensive, particularly my husband, but from the moment we arrived it was a truly wonderful experience. From choosing your kimono right down to the making of the matcha tea, everything was fun, precise, informative and professionally done. We couldn’t have wanted a better experience. I would recommend everyone do this.
