Great Barrier Reef mga cruise

Napakagandang day tour sa Reef, nakahinto kami sa 2 diving spot at kasama rin sa package ko ang 1 helicopter flight. Mayroon ding photographer ang operator, na tumulong sa pagkuha ng mga underwater photo na maaari mong bilhin sa huli (bagaman medyo mahal sa $20/litrato). Simple lang ang tanghalian (steak, hipon, inihaw na isda, salad at pasta) ngunit masarap, at napakasariwa ng hipon. Ang nais ko sanang mapabuti ay ang anunsyo ng helicopter flight – mas maganda sana kung inihayag nila ang aking turn mga 10-15 minuto bago lumipad ang helicopter, para may sapat akong oras na magpalit ng normal na damit (nagsi-snorkeling ako bago iyon). Naniniwala rin ako na kung bibigyan ang mga pasahero ng hindi bababa sa 30 minuto bago ang pag-alis upang uminom ng gamot sa hilo, mas magiging epektibo ito. Ang ilang pasahero sa aking biyahe ay uminom ng gamot ngunit nahilo pa rin, marahil dahil hindi sapat ang oras para umiral ang gamot (kailangan mong inumin ito pagkatapos ng almusal, hindi bababa sa 30 minuto bago ang pag-alis).

I was worried about check-in and other procedures since I don't speak English, but I'm so grateful that there were many Japanese staff members who provided support. We were also blessed with good weather, and it truly became an unforgettable memory!

Napakagandang karanasan! Talagang sulit puntahan ang Great Barrier Reef! Napakaganda ng bangka ng Sunlovers kumpara sa ibang mga bangka. Napakahusay ng mga gabay sa SeaWalker at Scuba Diving. Nagkaroon din kami ng pinakamagandang karanasan sa snorkeling!

The boat transfers were smooth. We had 2.5 hours on Fitzroy Island and 3.5 hours on Green Island, though I’d definitely prefer more time on Fitzroy and less on Green. Both islands are lovely for swimming and relaxing, but not great for snorkelling. The glass bottom boat was the biggest letdown — the glass was dirty and mossy, making visibility poor.

Nice island getaway with a relaxing vibe We joined a day trip to Fitzroy Island and overall had a nice experience. The boat ride from the marina took about 45 minutes, which was quite manageable. The weather in the days before our trip had been rainy, so the guide let us know in advance that the water might not be very clear. Even so, it was still enjoyable to spend time on the island and go into the water. The beach we were at had corals instead of soft sand, so it was a bit harder and more slippery to walk on, something visitors may want to be prepared for. We still managed to see a few fishes and corals while snorkelling. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant day trip, especially if you want to enjoy island scenery and spend some time by the water. I’d recommend bringing suitable footwear for the coral beach and managing expectations depending on recent weather conditions.

Madali ang pag-check in at umalis ang bangka sa tamang oras. Perpekto ang panahon at nakabalik kami sa takdang oras.
