The museum's collection is incredibly rich; you could easily spend half a day there! You can rent an audio guide device, and if you bring your own 3.5mm headphones, you won't have to hold it the whole time.

I highly recommend buying the 48-hour Salzburg Card! I used it to visit Mozart's Residence, Mozart's Birthplace, Hellbrunn Palace, the Untersberg cable car, St. Peter's Cemetery and Catacombs, and to take the funicular up to Hohensalzburg Fortress to explore its museums. It's incredibly cost-effective and I strongly suggest getting one!

Visiting Hallstatt from Vienna was extremely well-organized, allowing us to relax and take in the stunning Austrian countryside along the drive without worrying about transfer logistics. ​Hallstatt itself is even more beautiful in person—the scenic lake views, charming alpine architecture, and postcard-perfect spots made every moment memorable. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

For travelers on a 4-5 day trip, this product is great for focusing on a few desired locations rather than trying to visit too many places. However, I do not recommend including the city tour bus in your choices. Instead, I suggest visiting one more attraction. I chose the tour bus, but the night tour wasn't available during the 72-hour period. I had read reviews from others who used it and decided to choose it, but when I went to board, I was told it wasn't running, so I had to turn back. I also didn't get to use the bus much during the tour. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the five concentrated selections.

I went to the concert 1 hour and 30 minutes before it started and ended up getting a free upgrade from B Class to Superior! 🤩 The queue management was quite poor though, so make sure to stay alert and keep an eye on things at all times. As for the performance—it was absolutely AMAZING. I’m not usually a big fan of orchestras or opera, but honestly, 120 minutes felt way too short.
