Thanks to Fauzi and Fredy we had a very good time even though ijen was closed due to unexpected circumstances but they able to arrange and customise the trip for us. Both of them are very friendly, hardworking and committed to their job with full of passion which make our trip wonderful. They deserve a raise and praise.

Ang aming 4D3N na biyahe sa Bromo, Ijen Blue Flame, at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall ay talagang perpekto! Ang mga inayos na tuluyan ay mahusay at napakakumportable, na nagbigay-daan sa amin na makapagpahinga nang husto pagkatapos ng bawat pisikal na nakakapagod na araw. Lalo naming gustong pasalamatan ang aming gabay na si Anam at ang aming driver. Napakakinis magmaneho ng driver kaya nakapagpahinga kami nang kumportable sa mahabang biyahe. Ang aming gabay na si Anam ay napakapropesyonal at dedikado; malalim niya kaming ipinakilala sa lokal na kultura at kasaysayan ng Javanese sa daan, na nagbigay sa amin ng mas mayamang pag-unawa sa mga lugar na aming binisita. Kung ginagabayan man kami sa paglalakad sa hatinggabi upang makita ang Ijen Blue Flame o paggalugad sa talon, palaging inuuna ni Anam ang aming kaligtasan. Bukod pa rito, isa siyang kahanga-hangang photographer! Tinulungan niya kaming kumuha ng napakaraming nakamamanghang larawan, na lumikha ng mga di malilimutang alaala. Our three-day, two-night East Java volcano tour truly exceeded our family's expectations! We learned after booking that the Ijen crater was closed. The travel agency not only promptly informed us but also actively helped us adjust our itinerary, even adding the Madakaripura Waterfall, which turned out to be the most surprising and memorable part of our trip. The three-day, two-night private tour was absolutely worth it! We had a dedicated guide and driver with us the entire time. Our guide, Jiaxin, is a native Indonesian but speaks fluent Chinese, so communication was seamless. Along the way, he shared many stories about the volcanoes, culture, and local life, and he also took excellent care of our family of four. During the trip, my husband, who suffers from severe sleep apnea, had a very strong reaction to the high altitude. Jiaxin meticulously looked after him, especially during the climb up Mount Ijen, where he accompanied and supported him almost the entire way. This allowed me to focus on caring for our two children without having to juggle responsibilities between family members. His attentiveness and sense of responsibility truly touched us. (And we even saw the beautiful artificial blue fire at the volcano!) Throughout the journey, Jiaxin also adjusted the pace according to our family's condition, arranging timely breaks, helping us take photos, and recommending local delicacies, making the entire trip very relaxed and comfortable. At Mount Bromo, when we were delayed and missed breakfast, he quietly arranged for the hotel to save meal boxes for us, so we had food waiting as soon as we returned to the hotel – truly thoughtful. I must also commend our driver, Agus Botak. Every day involved long drives of over four hours, often on winding mountain roads in East Java, and sometimes even starting in the early morning. Yet, he was always energetic and drove smoothly, allowing us to rest comfortably in the car. For families traveling with children, a safe and reliable driver is incredibly important. What touched us most was that they didn't treat this job as a routine task; they genuinely cared for every traveler. These three days brought us not only beautiful scenery but also heartwarming human connection. This was the best travel experience I've had in Southeast Asia to date, which is why I'm writing this review so earnestly, hoping it can serve as a reference for others. From the travel agency's arrangements and the guide's professionalism to the driver's attentiveness, they left me with a wonderful impression of Indonesia. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. I also want to add that the cost of this private tour includes one meal, local guides for Madakaripura Waterfall and Ijen Volcano, all entrance fees, and necessary equipment, so there's no need to worry about additional expenses – it's truly worth it! ❤️

transport options: Our driver Dosi was very friendly and made our transfer to each location very smooth. itinerary: Prepare for irregular sleeping hours as we needed to wake up at 12am to drive to the location for sunrise. But it was worth it. tour guide: Each attraction had its guide. Shout out to our waterfall guide, Edi. He went above and beyond by constantly helping us take instagrammable photos and videos even though we didn't ask. At the end of the attraction, he even helped us to compile it into a ready to post video and sent us all 100+ photos and videos. attractions: Not for the faint of heart. There were steep hikes involved and was more adventurous than we had expected. Definitely watch some YouTube vlogs to get a sense of the fitness level required. accomodation options: Fluctuating quality. One of them was amazing as it was a business hotel. The other 2 had a good outside view of nature but also had bugs (which probably can't be helped since it's near nature)

It was one of the most memorable trip I have been to with lots of experience and flavors. Even though our trip to Kawah Ijen got canceled due to wildfires, we were offered alternative options and we chose Tabuhan island where we could ride a boat, enjoy our lunch and break time on the beach before we continued to go snorkeling. We also got a chance to get our footages while snorkeling to keep as a memory. Especially, our tour guide and driver Mr. Ruly was very funny and energetic to be around. Moreover, his driving skill was so admirable which we do not have to worry much as he drove us from one place to the other very safely. Overall, I would recommend to book this shared multiday tour to experience the most of Bromo and East Java. 💯💯

There's a website with more info of the actual itinerary and what to prepare after booking which was useful. Car is clean and guide is friendly. Booked 4D3N so not too rush. We were able to see the sunrise at Bromo & Ijen. Ijen was not too easy to climb, certain areas are steep. Also if you want to see both blue flames and sunrise you got hike fast. We didn't had time for blue flames but managed to get a good timelapse of sunrise. Local guide at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall directs you to all the photo spots and good at taking photos. He even managed to stitch up a short video with and background music for us in such a short time.

if you think about IJen, you should stop thinking and doing:)! it’s very nice place and view. the blue lava is nog so big but still nice to see. also the hike was heavy but with every strength you can do this. there are 5 checkpoint where you can take a break.
