Chiayi

Ang pagpunta sa Alishan ay isang napakagandang karanasan! Mas madali ang lahat dahil ayos na ang transportasyon at mga hotel sa pamamagitan ng tour. Sana makabalik ako agad! Ang aming tour guide na si Joanna ay kahanga-hanga! Napakabait niya, sinasagot ang aming iba't ibang tanong tungkol sa lugar at tungkol sa kulturang Taiwanese sa pangkalahatan. Talagang higit pa sa inaasahan ang ginawa niya, ipinakilala niya kami sa mga lokal na pagkain at dinala kami upang makita ang pagsikat ng araw sa Taichung sa aming pagbalik sa Taipei!

Si Tony talaga ang pinakamagaling na tour guide na mahihiling namin para sa biyaheng ito! Medyo paliko-liko ang daan papuntang Alishan, pero napakakinis at ligtas niyang nagmaneho kaya kampante kami sa loob ng sasakyan. Napakagaling niyang kausap at naaliw niya kami sa mahabang biyahe, at talagang alam niya ang pasikot-sikot ng mga kagubatan ng Alishan. Isa sa mga pinakanagustuhan namin ay nang dinala niya kami sa isang tahimik na nayon para mananghalian at panoorin ang dumaraang tren—isang lugar na hindi namin mahahanap nang mag-isa. Dala pa niya ang kanyang sariling kamera at nagbahagi ng mga de-kalidad na larawan namin at ng tanawin pagkatapos. Kasama ko sa paglalakbay ang aking mga senior citizen na magulang, at si Tony ay napakapasensyoso at pinadali niya ang buong karanasan para sa kanila. Lubos naming inirerekomenda ang pag-book sa kanya para sa isang group tour!

Sa totoo lang, ang 5 bituin ay para sa aming tour guide na si Ken Huang at driver na si Sam Wang. Pareho silang napaka-informative at mabait. Ang mga lugar na binisita namin ay kamangha-mangha ngunit pinaganda pa ito ng dalawang ito. Napakaswerte namin. Ang mga 5 star hotel accommodations ay kamangha-mangha rin.

first time staying at this hotel and despite being a 3 star hotel, the hotel is good with spacious rooms, good variety of breakfast and great location which is just next to wenhua night market. however I didn't see many facilities within the hotel except a restaurant. staff members were generally friendly and helpful but I faced one or two staff at the reception who seemed impatient to answer my questions. check-in and checkout were quick which was fantastic. overall, I will still come back to stay with thos hotel if I visit chiayi again.

Overall, the accommodation experience was very good. The environment was spacious and comfortable, and the public spaces were also kept quite clean. I recommend arriving at the hotel early to look around or relax. The hotel provides underground parking, and if the parking lot is full, you can also park in a nearby parking lot and the hotel will assist with paying the fees, which is very thoughtful. The room includes indoor slippers, making it comfortable and relaxing to stay in, but the number of seats is slightly limited, which may be a little inconvenient if you want to eat or pack your luggage. The location is also quite convenient, about a 15-minute walk to Cultural Road Night Market, making it easy to grab a late-night snack or go shopping at night. I especially recommend the nearby A'e Doujiang Douhua, which is delicious and has a local feel. Overall, with comfortable space, convenient transportation, and parking friendliness, this is a hotel I would be willing to visit again 👍

Pros: 1. The location is right by the Wenhua Road Night Market, and there's a partner parking lot nearby (free, unlimited in-and-out access). The soundproofing is good. 2. The staff provides excellent service. 3. Check-in time is until 9 PM, but I called to check in by phone because I wouldn't make it in time. They said they would leave the room key with security (luckily, I still made it in the end). I recommend calling ahead if you think you'll be late. 4. After 9 PM, you enter and exit through a side door. There's security, so it feels safe. 5. The breakfast is simple, good, and tasty. There aren't many options, but what they have is delicious. 6. We stayed in a six-person room, and it was very spacious. There was even a dedicated area for hanging clothes (it would be even better with a door for changing privacy). It had three large beds (one was slightly larger than a standard queen size), a small living area, and a refrigerator. We slept well. One of the beds was softer than the others, but it didn't bother me. 7. Bottled water, tea bags, and Laoyang Cube Biscuits are provided. Basically, there are no downsides. I would recommend this place the next time I visit Chiayi or if friends ask for recommendations. Highly recommended!

The Chiayi Maison de Chine is the hotel with the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in. I want to stay at Maison de Chine every time I come to Chiayi in the future. The stay also includes a happy hour voucher where you can eat snacks and drink cocktails, draft beer, or red wine next to the lobby. There aren't many snack items, but it's a nice service to have. It's also very close to the Cultural Road Night Market, within walking distance. Both motorcycles and cars can be parked in their underground parking lot.

A huge thank you to the extremely helpful male receptionist who was on duty at 1:30 PM on October 13th. I left a plastic bag containing six souvenir packages in the lobby. I didn't realize it until I got to the train station, so I quickly called the front desk to confirm. They said they had it, and I told them I would take a taxi back immediately to get it. I told the taxi driver to keep the meter running, and that I would just run in and come right back out. Unexpectedly, when I arrived at the entrance, I saw that the same receptionist was already waiting for me at the door with the bag in hand. I was so sorry for the trouble! Thank you so much for your help. Also, the room was large and comfortable – a great experience overall.

Suitable for bringing children, it's very quiet, and the food is good. I recommend adding an extra $250/person for the late-night snack. The casserole fish head soup and vegetarian noodles are all-you-can-eat. I prefer the French bread with butter, which is very delicious. The service attitude is excellent. They even gave us a small apple upon checkout. Thank you for the hard work of the staff. The Grand Cosmos Resort Ruisui is also very good and worth recommending.
