One of the things I loved most about staying at the Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles was its location right in the heart of Downtown LA. I enjoy exploring cities on foot, so having so many places I wanted to visit within walking distance made my stay much easier. From the hotel, I could walk to Angels Flight, CalEdison, the Bradbury Building, Grand Central Market, The Last Bookstore, and Apple Tower Theatre. I spent a lot of time walking around DTLA, and the Biltmore was a very convenient base to return to after exploring. For my itinerary and the places I wanted to see, the location worked perfectly.

We arrived early and were hoping to store luggage as we were exhausted and would have a few hours to burn. The hotel manager on duty kindly checked us in and changed our room to suit the 3 of us. Staff were so friendly and lovely to deal with. The location was ideal as we were going to Universal the next day. This hotel is literally next to the metro and it is only one stop away from Universal. I would definitely come back here again

The overnight valet charge is an incredible $71 but it does come with unlimited in and out privileges . Our first night we did an outside garage at $25 - that was within 10 min walking distance. The rooms with beds facing the windows are great - but the windows need a big clean outside ! The bed mattress is very comfortable. The breakfast at OpenAire is pretty expensive - two eggs - bacon and a couple of other items is over $30 ! Burrito and Huevos Rancheros are reasonable and good quality - but expect to pay circa $60 + for breakfast here - good thing we’re in K Town so there’s plenty of other choices down the street - BCD for instance. The hotel also has a daily facility fee - so again expect to pay that on top of what you already paid in your booking ! Staff are friendly at this hotel so full house points there !

everything was great! had to trade out our pillows bc the first pillows themselves kinda smelled like BO but no issue after the trade with no charge (eco friendly hotel). deep tub was so nice & Asian style shower.

Amazing Stay at Whiskey Hotel Stayed on Oct 27 at Whiskey Hotel (1717 N Wilcox Ave) and I loved it! Super clean room, comfy bed, and the location is perfect — 5 mins walk to Hollywood Walk of Fame.! The staff were so friendly and helpful(Jessie) especially with directions to Lake Hollywood Park for the Hollywood Sign photo. The bar cocktails are a must-try! Quiet at night despite being in the center of Hollywood. Will definitely come back! Highly recommended for anyone visiting LA. - Melanie from Hawaii

During the stay, it was a bit noisy. The design of the toilet was fairly inconvenient. It was aware that the room rates in Santa Monica were high but in my opinion, the property was overpriced.
