Superbe expérience avec un très gentil monsieur, qui nous a fait réaliser plusieurs étapes de laquages de cuillères et baguettes traditionnelles. On recommande l’activité à 100%. Attention pour y accéder il faut monter à l’étage et chercher la devanture avec écrit « spoon ». On est reparti avec le sourire et des baguettes fait main !

Such a fun experience. The gentleman who lead the class was so very kind and patient. It's an educational experience. You take part in various steps, but because of drying times, you take home what someone else started, which is pretty fun, as you get to uncover the choices of others. We really enjoyed it.

I had the most wonderful time during this traditional spoon-making experience. The master craftsman was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing both the technique and the philosophy behind the craft. Highly recommended for anyone interested in this activity! oh not to forget, i get free handmade zodiac keychain from the ahjussi! it’s so cute!

Napakagandang karanasan. Gumawa kami ng kutsara at chopsticks sa maraming hakbang, na binubuo ang ginawa ng mga naunang customer, at iniiwan ang aming mga bahagyang likha sa susunod na customer. Kaya sa huli ay nasubukan mo ang lahat ng iba't ibang hakbang, at nakauwi ng isang set, kahit na ang kumpletong proseso ay tumatagal ng maraming araw ng pagpapatuyo.

I really wanted to do a mother of pearl experience to have a souvineer to take back and this was such a good one! I love the end product and the class itself takes you through almost every step of the process as you continue on work from others until you finish the product. The instructor was super informative and great at fixing you though the steps.

L'artisan qui propose l'atelier est très gentil et patient ! Il prend le temps d'expliquer toute la démarche de fabrication des couverts ainsi que la provenance des matériaux et leur usage traditionnel. Je recommande cet activité, très originale, qui se tient dans l'atelier authentique de l'artisan. Un grand merci à lui pour son accueil !

The person hosting the class was very informative and tried his best to conduct the class with the limited English he had. He made sure that my classmates and I understood what we did and the rationales behind the steps.

This was one of the highlights of my trip. Chon was very kind and took his time to explain the whole process. It was such a beautiful experience learning the art of lacquering. Chon even gave me a little gift, that he hand made, at the end! I would recommend this a million times if I could. Thank you, Chon! I hope to one day bring my family to this experience :)

Hindi tulad ng nakasaad sa paglalarawan. Ipagpapatuloy mo ang trabaho ng ibang kalahok dahil ang aktwal na proseso ay tumatagal ng 8 araw. Sa huling hakbang, pipili ka ng kutsara at chopsticks at gagawin ang mga huling pagpino. At ito ang iuwi mo. Matututunan mo ang bawat hakbang sa paggawa at gagawin ang trabaho para sa susunod na araw para sa ibang kalahok. Napakabait ng lalaki, nagpapaliwanag at tumutulong sa bawat hakbang at nagpapakita kung paano ito gawin. Sinusuri niya muli ang lahat at sinasabi/ipinapakita kung may kailangan pang ayusin. Sa huli, makakatanggap ka pa ng maliit na sorpresa.
