Matcha Tasting at Creative Drink Making Experience sa Shibuya, Tokyo

We had such an amazing matcha-making experience with Kody! He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, explaining each step clearly while making the class fun and engaging. We learned so much about matcha preparation and Japanese tea culture, and making our own matcha was definitely a highlight of our trip to Tokyo. Thank you, Kody, for such a memorable experience. We missed our first session because of the heatwave but Klook and the merchant are very accommodating to rescheduling. Once we got there, the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Kody was such a great sport teaching us about a short history of matcha and how to create it. He also showed the difference between modern and traditional tastes! Definitely recommend and will go back to try the Matcha beer next!

We had a wonderful experience! Our guide spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable. We loved learning about the different regions. Defintely pay attention to the photos if you’re having trouble finding the location, we wouldn’t have found the place without them!

This was a great matcha making class. Our host was so knowledgeable and his explanations were easy to understand. He chose a very delicious matcha for the class, it was perfect. The location is very cozy and intimate. you are able to speak directly with the host and others attending the session.
