An awesome experience~ the coache is well experienced in the martial art, very calm and patient with the students in class! not only will travelers be experiencing and practicing the arts but you will get a very informed little course about the history and reasons for Kendo~ equipments are provided with great safety measures and guidance. learn the basics and practice it in matches. most importantly worth experiencing it, and have fun~!

Wonderful experience from start till finish. I was so lucky that I was the only participant for the time slot I had booked, which meant I got to practice directly with the kendo expert himself. He was both patient and encouraging, which was a big confidence boost when trying something completely new. It's a couple that runs this training experience, and they were both so warm and accommodating, even providing me with tips for eating places to fit my allergy concerns.

Unique experience that I so highly recommended. The instructor is patient and makes it fun. Most memorable of all my Japan experiences.

This experience tought me a lot about Kendo techniques and etiquette. A must do (not only) for all martial arts fans! You will learn basic Kendo techniques and etiquette and even spar towards the end. This will out your reflexes and wit to the test.

I had an amazing time doing the Samurai Kendo training experience in Osaka! It was a very interesting and fun experience, and I really enjoyed learning about the basics of Kendo and the traditional techniques behind it. During the training, I learned the three main forms of attacks: men (head attack), do (body attack), and kote (wrist attack ). The instructor was great at explaining the techniques and giving us a chance to practice them ourselves. It was a unique way to experience a part of Japanese culture and learn something completely new. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Osaka who wants to try something fun, active, and culturally meaningful!

Experience formidable. Tres bon acceuil avec un maitre et des assistants tous tres attentionnes et a l'ecote. Beaucoup de bienveillance et de gentillesse. Quelques exercices d'entrainement et des vrais combats. En plus de cela nous avons eu le droit a une petite demonstration de combat entre le maitre et un de ses eleves. Vraiment excellente experience tout le monde a adore. Grands et petits!

It was our first time to try Kendo and Master Toshi made it a memorable one for us. It was a wonderful experience - From the extensive knowledge about the history of Kendo that his wife shared with us; to the interaction and practical experiences, all were amazing! Master Toshi was also very patient in guiding us through the whole session and giving us constant encouragement made a difference. Overall, my partner and I had a great time and it’s definitely one of our best experiences during our time in Japan. For those who haven’t tried Kendo before and would like to make your trip a special one, we highly recommend this place and you would not regret it! P.S: thanks Toshi’s wife for the amazing photoshoot as well as to both of your suggestions in the ramen place! It was fantastic! 😮‍💨

Had an amazing experience with Kendo training! The instructor was very friendly, patient, and professional, and explained everything clearly. ich hatte das große Glück, dass ich alleine den Kurs besuchen durfte und somit eine Privat Session hatte. die Lehrer waren sehr erfahren und geduldig. Es hat rießen Spaß gemacht. das war sein Geld wirklich wert und ich kann den Kurs sehr empfehlen! Kultur pur!
