Klase ng Korean Cookie: Isang Pagsasanib ng Tradisyon at Trend sa Yeonnam-dong

Nagkaroon kami ng napakasayang oras sa pag-aaral kung paano gumawa ng Yakgwa kasama si Stella. Ang kanyang studio ay napakalinis at kaaya-aya. Siya rin ay sapat na mapagbigay upang ibahagi ang kanyang sariling kakaibang recipe ng Yakgwa Cookie na puno ng Chestnut. I took a one-day class where I learned how to make Korean-style cookies with yakgwa. It was a really fun experience! The instructor was kind and very friendly, and the desserts turned out absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was lovely—you could see beautiful big trees through the large windows, and the place was very clean. I truly enjoyed this activity, and it felt very meaningful to me. I even brought the cookies home for my dad, and he loved them so much!

This experience was absolutely perfect. Estella was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I was the only participant that day, but that was no problem at all for her. She made me feel completely at ease from the very start. She was very patient and shared wonderfully detailed information about the cookies and each step of the process. It honestly felt less like a class and more like visiting a friend to bake cookies together. The atmosphere was warm, open, and relaxed, with lovely conversations while working on the cookies. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail of this experience. A truly wonderful and memorable activity. I highly recommend it!

our family had a fantastic experience with Estella! Her attention to detail from the moment we walked in the door to leaving with our elegantly wrapped and delicious cookies was first class. The studio was clean and bright, she showed genuine interest in our experience and the finished product was so beautiful we want to give them all alway! would definitely recommend this class and will easily be on of our highlights from our visit!

Such a lovely class! spotless clean and tidy, very relaxing environment. making traditional cakes has been so much fun.

In Estella's baking class I have learned how to refine the traditional honey-soaked cookies with a contemporary touch. While the chestnuts paste filling adds a smooth texture, its rice flour coat glazed in honey with a mini Yakgwa cookie on top decorated by a shining sugar perl makes every single one an attractive piece of artwork for one’s taste buds and beyond. Each one is separately packed into a pastry box with a transparent lid, then beautifully decorated with a sticker before being putt into a present box. I could share those beautifully arranged Yakgwas baked together with Estella 2 days later in my summer school class during a farewell session, and they ran out soon :))). Thank you Estella for sharing not only your knowledge/skill, but also time and kindness while enthusiastically exchanging your personal life and work experiences with me, I could learn something about the working culture in Korea too. The Yakgwa are meanwhile gone for good, but the sweet memories will last :)!

We had a wonderful time making a modern fusion version of the Yakgwa cookie. Estella was very kind and since there were just the three of us in the class it felt like a very personal experience. The cookies were delicious and we each got to take home our beautifully decorated cookies in a souvenir box. This was a memorable experience which I would recommend!
