Location was great and hotel had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was such a convenient aspect with a pretty big selection each morning. We loved the main swim up bar, especially during happy hour. There is another pool on the resort that is a little more chill and would go to when we didn’t feel like being around kinds. The hotel was a quick walk to our favorite dive bars Blah De Bar or Lena bar for live music and a fire show Friday nights.
But, when I think of the Metadee hotel, manager Knok is the first thing that comes to mind. He went above and beyond his positioning. His recommendations of night markets and areas to check out were spot on! He expanded mine and my husbands knowledge on Thai culture and just had some great conversations. Overall, Knok was nothing short of a gentleman and his kindness was contagious! If and when we book again it would be to see our new friend Knok. I hope he comes to see this review.
