The hotel was lovely and pretty quiet. The staff had very low level of english so difficult to communicate. The gym has no air con so close to impossible to train there. Location is brilliant, close to good gym and nice restaurant

Clean room, Outdoor pool, nice view.

The room was very basic but all in all it was ok. The bathroom, however, was another story. The shower head holder was broken and didn't hold the shower head up, the water didn't drain, so we were standing in inches of dirty water when showering. No shower curtain or any type of partition so there was water everywhere after showering. The bathroom alone made the whole experience quite gross. The balcony door didn't lock and the curtain holder was broken, which made it hard to open and close. There was a constant bad smell in the room, like blocked drain, which might explain the shower not draining properly. If we needed anything (water, toilet paper), we were told we had to wait until 3pm the next day. The staff were not as friendly and welcoming as we are used to in Thailand, we haven't had this disappointing level of service before so we understand it's not typical for Thailand. On the plus side, the breakfast was good, Palm, the tour guy, was really nice and helped us organise a boat trip and the outdoor aesthetic is very nice. We will not be returning to this hotel unfortunately.

I am a vegetarian(no egg) and found absolutely nothing to eat at breakfast. There were no options except fruit, oatmeal or corn flakes. I requested to borrow knife to cut fruits I got from local market but they refused to provide knife. For a person on holiday these small things are important.

Very courteous staff The building needs some maintenance attention beyond house keeping.. Walls, washroom tiling + power outlets need a refresh Thank you to the staff - always smiling & polite. The gentleman who books tours is a also helpful guide.

From the moment we arrived at Hula Hula, the staff were exceptional. Checking in/out was smooth, rooms well cleaned and stocked, pool always clean, and the staff always attentive, polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet had a varied selection and the pool food was great. The location of the hotel is always great, close by to great restaurants and amenities and easy to get Grabs or transport to and from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entrance to the hotel and pool area is nice. The room was dated with various elements broken / not working. The room had been serviced for arrival but it wasn’t clean and had to request for it to be cleaned. We stayed in the private pool villa.,

Pool was beautiful and room was clean and spacious. A little confusing about the free shuttle since not all times were free. Overall great stay.

The hotel rooms do need a renovation urgently. The common areas are great, fairly new and well maintained, but the rooms are not. Mine had a damp smell in the entrance, stains in all walls, shower with missing tray and holes in the wall, standing lamp was fully broken, towels quite worn out. Breakfast could do with more fruit variety, and also ripen fruit. Staff was super friendly and helpful though. Specially the tour seller, Palm. Common to Thailand, but you will need to walk on the road until you get to where the footpaths are.
