At the foot of Cangshan Mountain lies the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, one of the most iconic sights of Yunnan Province, famous for its size, beauty and antiquity. This famous attraction is comprised of three independent pagodas that form a symmetric triangle across the grounds. You can easily spot the tall structures from miles away against the never ending mountains and rice fields of Dali. Take time to explore the structures, starting from the main pagoda known as the Qianxun Pagoda where you'll find a carved shrine containing a sitting white marble Buddha statue at the center of each facade of all 16 stories.
