The pool area is quite narrow. To make things worse, smoking was allowed anywhere. It could also be no one was enforcing no smoking at the poolside. I was with my kids and we have to keep moving to different parts of the pool to avoid 2nd hand smokes.

The room was spotless…super clean! Amenities were great. And staffs went the extra mile to decorate the room as it was my birthday. Kuddos to all the staffs…polite, friendly & super helpful!

The experience was simply amazing! From the time of check in, to the birthday surprise during breakfast, the staffs made the stay a cherished one. Kudos to all, you guys at Marriot have truly made my weekend special. Will definitely make marriot my choice again when I come to batam!! 🙏
