The Whitehall Hotel, BW Premier Collection

It was amazing! Great location and the hotel has so much charm!

Staff very welcoming. The only issue was towels. Only 2 for two days, requested more and they were delivered. The breakfast that was included was OK. Nothing special and mostly carbs. Otherwise a great visit.

AC stopped working and had to change in the late night. Front desk at check-in was abrupt. No consideration offered for the change (after two visits from engineering).

I thought I was supposed to get a break on parking. According to Hotels.com, I should had got a break on parking and not be charged full price. Staff wasn’t overly friendly. Seemed awfully gruff and defensive. The breakfast buffet was horrible after being bill as great. No yogurt, or eggs, or bacon. Just very basics and not much. Didn’t have hot water for the first two days. The pump needed to get fixed. Took 20-30 minutes to get hot water. The room needed cleaning every day. Was told only cleaned every other day. Love the old hotel. Just disappointed. Paid lots of money for little service.

Good people helpful

I liked the classic feel of this hotel, I felt like the room was spacious for a downtown hotel and it was super convenient to everything I wanted to do in downtown Chicago. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean rooms

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff...will definitely stay here again

My stay was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and made the experience even more enjoyable. I called the concierge several times for recommendations, and every suggestion was great. Whenever I needed assistance or something in my room needed attention, one call was all it took. Someone arrived within minutes, and the issue was resolved before they left. The service was prompt and efficient. I also appreciated the hotel’s environmentally friendly housekeeping option. Guests can choose to have their bed made without having the sheets changed every day, which is a nice way to help conserve water and reduce waste. One thing to note for future guests is that the complimentary breakfast is a continental breakfast. It includes items like cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, and beverages, rather than hot options such as eggs and bacon.

Good!!!!
