It's a clean new hotel and the spa was amazing. Only 5 mins walk frm 1Batam Mall. Will stay here again. They have grilled on d spot meat for bfast buffet too.

New hotel so everything was clean. Great ambience. Very near to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. Staff was friendly, helpful - amazing service. Hotel smells great. A good breakfast spread. I particularly love the Indomie counter. Pastries taste excellent. Will be back here again and hopefully experience the same or even better overall. Kudos to the whole team!

Visited Grand Mercure in 2026, after the refurbishing. The landscaping works at the entrance is still being upgraded, and the entire hotel looks brand new. The team of staff were all efficient and warm, from the reception, concierge, to the Ambrosia Restaurant. They have a convenient shuttle to the mall, with a brand new van. The kueh lapis and grilled sausages at the breakfast buffet were delicious, and the chefs did the grilling on the spot. Will be keen to try the Sup Buntut next time around. Will definitely recommend travellers to visit this hotel, excellent experience in Batam.

Modern hotel . Staff friendly . Good swimming pool . Good location . Only issue is that still has a lot of construction sites working around hotel
