11/26: I bought the buy-one-get-one-free foot onsen and Thai massage deal on Klook. Personally, I found the environment and comfort level to be an incredible value 👍. The surroundings are serene and full of thoughtful details. They started by serving herbal tea and a refreshing towel 👍. There are three scents to choose from for the foot soak, and during the soak, they give a 10-minute shoulder and neck massage using a timer. They even fold the towels into cute elephant shapes 👍. The massage pillows are specially shaped, they proactively ask about the pressure level, and there is a 50-minute timer for the massage. The music is soft and soothing, and I felt completely relaxed after the whole session 👍.

This masseuse understands what I'm saying, which is rare and I feel very lucky. I first visited this place five years ago and had a great impression, but it is indeed expensive. A lot of the cost actually comes from the decor, snacks, and the overall ambiance, which makes you feel pampered the moment you step in. Back then, they weren't partnered with Klook, so you'd pay the package prices listed on their official website. I purchased a three to four-hour session. I was a bit worried that this discounted package might mean I'd get a new, inexperienced masseuse. This is because the amount of pressure I can tolerate varies greatly across my body; in some areas, just a light touch from the masseuse makes me yelp, while in others, she has to use all her strength for me to feel anything. She didn't slack off or waste time at all; I actually fell asleep during the exfoliation, which really surprised me! All in all, with high-priced massages like this, if you feel anything is lacking, you really need to communicate it to the masseuse yourself so you don't waste your money. After all, for Bangkok, this price point isn't cheap. Their official website has many other special packages and massage styles. If you get the chance, everyone should try them; I've already tried them all. Ambiance:

My friend and I had the most amazing spa ever! From the moment we entered until the moment we left service has been top notch. My therapist Lisa hit all my pressure points, this is a spa I will definitely return to. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful service.

Repeat customer here, Once Upon A Thai is probably my favourite spa in the world. Facilities are great - everything feels new and very well-maintained, the spa rooms are huge and very aesthetic. I always feel so pampered here, a true haven for self-care and relaxation. Every little touch elevates the experience - the singing bowl ritual before the start of the massage, the aroma basin(?) they place underneath your face while you’re having the massage, the heated bed, the beautiful private onsen and shower. They even gave me a herbal ball for free at the end of my massage. Will definitely be back again and again.
