Our tour guide Iki was literal perfection. she was super knowledgeable and friendly and took care of everything. She made it for the best of our trip and I could not recommend her enough!

Kayo was kind, extremely knowledgeable and very prepared. Kayo's English comprehension and communication skills are fantastic! She increased focus on areas that she realized we had specific interest in. She had great restaurant suggestions for lunch. We feelvthe value of the tour with her was 100%. Our guide was Reiko san and I must say she was the best part about our tour. Her knowledge of Kanazawa and the Samurai history is amazing, and that she has Samurai ancestry is all the more fascinating. We greatly appreciated her flexibility in adjusting parts of the intinerary to suit us. It was wonderful listening to her introducing Kanazawa and the Samurai history so passionately. I highly recommend asking for Reiko san when selecting a private tour in Kanazawa!

We started our trip with this tour and had Yumiko as our guide. We were able to communicate with her in the time leading up to the tour and she customized the itinerary to meet our needs and desires, including choosing a delicious lunch spot that was able to accommodate our food allergies (shellfish/crustacean allergies). It was definitely worth doing as we got to see a lot of different places on our list and having a guide was great to be able to ask questions and learn more about the places and cultures. We plan on coming back to Japan in the future and would definitely consider doing a tour again!
