Fantastiskt The room was wonderful. Very clean, modern, and spacious. Although the hotel is a little ways from the historical downtown, you can take the free bus (CAT) and get off at stop 11 and from there the hotel is less than a10 min walk. CAT made it very easy to get anywhere in town from the hotel.
The only negative was the wifi was awful. It was constantly dropping and I had to reconnect multiple times each session.

Overall experience was good. Staff were friendly and the lady who was on night duty was most helpful when I checked out super early today at 4am. She even offered to order a Grab ride for me.
The room was also okay. Though I noticed the trash bins were not completely cleared out. Had some plastic and paper wrappings inside.
Read about the sound proofing issues from previous reviews, at first I didn’t notice much except for the noise coming from the hallway as my room was right close to the lift. Last night’s noises were a mystery as the upper floor unit had water noises like someone showering, then a loud bang on the floor like a huge heavy item was dropped on the floor directly above the bed, then came high pitched laugh from a lady then a guy ( selective phases) like it was too close to my ear.

First time staying after recommendation from my brother who always stay here when in Penang. A clean hotel and the room was big. Parking was easy as I could get a lot right on hotel site. Walking to restaurants and coffee shops for delicious local food.
