The staff were friendly and efficient. Good location; a short walk from many places and lots of food options. The pool area is nice with a small gym (adequate for a few exercises or cardio).

Although this is advertised as a 5-star hotel, my experience did not meet that standard. The room was spacious, which I appreciated, but the overall quality, cleanliness, and facilities fell well below my expectations. The level of cleanliness was particularly disappointing and did not reflect what I would expect from a 5-star property. The room cooling system and controls were also not intuitive and were difficult to operate. I understand and support efforts to reduce plastic waste. However, I was surprised that no complimentary drinking water was provided through any alternative means. Many 4-star hotels offer water refill stations, filtered water taps, or glass bottles in guest rooms. At this hotel, guests were required to purchase their own water, which felt inconsistent with the standards typically associated with a 5-star experience. The breakfast was acceptable, but it was neither exceptional nor memorable. It was adequate, but certainly not at the level I would expect from a hotel of this rating. The only significant positive was the location. The hotel is within easy walking distance of City Hall MRT, making it convenient to access transportation, shopping, and nearby attractions. Overall, while the room size was good and the location was convenient, the low standard of cleanliness, limited amenities, lack of complimentary water options, and overall experience made the stay feel much more like a 3-star hotel than a 5-star property.

My rooms was on 4th floor and all I could see is the building next to it which makes the experience of staying there a bit disappointing. And I thought this hotel is selected as one of the best hotels in Singapore but unfortunately I have to disagree with that decision. I saw a lot of fruit flies in the shower booth and that’s already a sign that this place is not “excellent.” For breakfast, I added the plan to my reservation beforehand but I only went once for my 3 nights stay. Their food selection is limited and the staffing was in short so before they guide me to the seat, I had to wait for 5 minutes. The staff clearly noticed that I was in queue to be seated but they kept doing something else. Honestly it wasn’t really worth it for me to add breakfast plan. I would rather eat out breakfast outside in a nice cafe.

Wonderful hotel in a great location with numerous food outlets nearby. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. All staff members were very obliging and provided excellent service. Loved our stay at Grand Park City Hall

Breakfast was less than average, same food every day, not a large choice. Always out of plates, cups, food. It's a poor set up part of the food in one area some in another. The tables were unorganized.
