The staff were exceptional and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their friendly and attentive service made our stay even more enjoyable.

Room assignment caused a little bit of headache for the first couple of days. The initial reception staff that I was conversing with were not that cooperative to understand my family's limitations and look for better options for their comfort. Third time though, Jennifer from reception really listened to me and came up with an option of a room that worked for all of my family members and made all of us happy. Even Luca at the reception desk promptly helped me a couple of times for my needs. So I guess it really depends which staff attends to you to get the quality reception. Otherwise , the hotel is excellent in terms of its location , cleanliness, room quality, room service and housekeeping.

On a recent around-the-world solo adventure, I booked several days at The Wyndham in Singapore. The location was quite good and the view from my room was exceptional. The property itself is a little tired and could benefit from an extensive renovation. Elevator logic was poor and every trip on the lift required much patience. Check in took forever - in fact ALL interactions with front desk were unnecessarily long. They would type and peer the screen and type and peer at the screen. It was like stepping back to the late 80s. Just weird how much friction there was when dealing with the desk. I opted for an upgrade and was quoted roughly $100 a night for each of four nights. The staff member then told me “that will be $1100 dollars.” I asked “for four nights?” He responded “yes, $100 for each night.” I questioned his total and he said “there are taxes.” I challenged his math and he went back to typing and peering and typing and peering and said “my bad, that will be $460”. Every interaction with staff was like this. Just weird. Of ALL the hotels I have stayed at during the course of this adventure, this was the least satisfying. I had other unresolved issues that they were unwilling to correct - but I don’t care to spend any more time thinking about this place. Bottom line - I would NOT recommend staying here if you are looking for even BASIC luxury level accommodations. It’s not that kind of place.

Rooms were clean but check in was extremely slow due to what seemed to be understaffing at the time. The shaving mirror in my room was also not screwed properly into the wall and coming off.

The room was immaculate. The staff was phenomenal. Especially the front desk reception and Shankrish, senior duty manager who took a potentially catastrophic situation and turned it into gold for us. I can’t thank you enough. Breakfast was varied western and eastern. The air conditioning was better than any others we came across in Singapore. The pool was delightful. The views alone are worth staying at this hotel, but the staff make this really the best option for a stay in Singapore. If you can, splurge for a room with a view of the bay. You will not regret it.

In general, the room is too small, the lobby is too noisy, fewer staff in the lobby area and to assist customers

Great spot close to mrt. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was good with lots of options

Good location. Just beside a shopping mall , lots to shop and eat .

View of Marina Bay Sands was amazing

From Check-in to Check-out....everything was PERFECT!!! Everybody was so nice, friendly and helpful. The Hotel looked a little bit older from the outside , but as soon as you enter it everything was new, very tastefully updated and modern. The Lobby is on the 6th floor. The pools were amazing, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the view from our room over Marina Bay Sands was breathtaking. The location of the hotel couldn't be better. We walked almost everywhere and the MRT was only steps away. We are definetely coming back.
