I absolutely loved my stay at Kobe Plaza Hotel and would happily book it again on my next visit. The room was surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with an efficient layout that made it feel even larger. The bed was comfortable and I especially appreciated the in-room humidifier and individually adjustable air conditioning, which made a huge difference during the hot and humid weather. The room was also very quiet despite being in such a central area. The hotel offers a wonderful selection of amenities, including complimentary toiletries and welcome drinks, which were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It is conveniently located near both JR Motomachi Station and the Sannomiya area, making it easy to explore Kobe and take day trips. There are countless restaurants, cafés, shops and convenience stores nearby. Kobe Chinatown, local markets, shopping arcades, and the beautiful harbor waterfront are all within walking distance. Although the surrounding area can get busy during rush hour, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet throughout my stay. It was the perfect combination of convenience and comfort. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Bigger room than expected due to upgrade. China town, shopping street, train station & Meriden Park are walkable. I enjoyed the Saturday fireworks & the harbour view of Harborland shopping centre that is several minutes drive to the hotel

I'd probably come back to this hotel in the future if I decide to stay in Kobe City. My room offered spacious conditions with nice couch and separated bathtub from toilet because I really dislike Unit Bath in general. Cleaned bath tub in Japanese fashion, and the shower head is so up to date style that I personally enjoyed taking. This facility also offers lounge refreshments at 3rd floor and coin laundry at top floor (make sure you have 4-5 100 yen coins that do both washing and drying in single machine; no need of bringing personal washing detergents). Overall, I was super satisfied during my stay.

Great hotel in Kobe’s centre

Fantastic Hotel. We had a clean and comfortable room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommended. Conveniently located to train station and lots of shopping and restaurants.

Ample space in the rooms with new facilities. Polite staff and good room turnover service. Convenient location.
