We throughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Number Nine. The staff went above and beyond to help us with arriving and during our stay. We were new to driving in Italy and the zoning restrictions were definitely difficult at times in getting to our destination but a call to the hotel had us at the entrance and checking in very quickly! Do not hesitate to reach out to them if you are driving. The location was excellent, in the heart of so many restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious, so many options and such helpful staff there as well. There is a spa which I did not get to enjoy, but I did enjoy the smell of it when walking by! The room had everything we needed and was spacious for our family of 3 - it was great to have a suite with 1 1/2 bathrooms. Truly the perfect hotel for a small family. Thank you all so much for everything you did for us!!

Really enjoyable stay overall — the staff were great and gave us a nice upgrade. A couple of things worth noting: the upgraded room, while more spacious, ran warmer than we’d have liked and the AC couldn’t quite get it to a comfortable temperature. It was also a bit more dated in decor compared to another family member’s room. Their room, by contrast, had perfect AC — so this seems like it may have just been an issue with that specific room rather than the property overall. Great location - no need to take uber , just arrange a taxi if you have bags - If only minimal bags - it’s a 5 minute walk from the train station Overall great experience

This hotel was such a joyful gem in the heart of Florence. Tucked around the corner from the Medici Chapel, on a brick lane that leads directly to a lively shopping district, walkable to the Duomo district and central to all of Florence. The hotel staff was especially helpful with recommendations, reservations and in room specifics. There is a fantastic spa and beautiful restaurant with live entertainment.

Loved my room, loved the location, loved staff. The breakfast had many options and the proportions are generous without being obscene. There is a nice bar on the weekends, a small gym and a spa I didn't get take advantage of and a nice calm vibe to counteract the hysteria of Florence.
