Amazing spa on site and you get 20% discount if you’re staying in the hotel. Shame the bar never seemed to be open. Would have been nice to have a drink there before going out and/or after coming home. Staff very nice and very helpful! 5 stars. If you’re wanting to visit Duomo. Be prepared to walk a lot. Takes about 30 minutes to walk. When it’s hot it’s quite a taxing walk. Especially if you’re sight seeing and doing a lot of walking around museums, the cathedral etc. maybe worth a taxi there and back or the bus/ trams that seem to run quite regularly.

We checked in with a very helpful receptionist - having walked from our car drop off place we were very hot and she gave us water. She also sent up an ice bucket and glasses for our celebration champagne. The room was lovely - small but on a corner and very nice. However- there were some issues. It was Sunday and the restaurant was shut and there was no room service. The “pantry” is a vending machine with different snacks to those on the menu and microwave food - so not really a 4/5* option. We booked into the spa for the half hour - however having had an immediate reply suggesting a different time there was no further response & fortunately we called before turning up as it wasn’t reserved. We did manage to get booked in an hour later - but the hot tub was cold and grimy and the other facilities ok. Overall the room was nice and the staff were nice but not being able to get decent food at a quality hotel was a bit of a surprise and the spa was definitely among the worst we’ve been to. I’d stay again as a quick stop over but not as a luxury break.

Very warm welcome, and quiet

The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was amazing.

Nice rooms and friendly staff

It was a great experience! Super spacious room, the staff were all very friendly and helpful whenever I had a question, and it was in a great location for walking to multiple spots on my itinerary for the week. Would definitely stay at Avani again!

Very convenient, safe and clean place. The apartment is quite good but the access is complicated with the need of multiple access code and thus a cell phone connected. The space is small, although the bathroom is nice. There is coffee and tea makers as well as a fudge but the electric connections are unstable.

Great hotel and staff.
