Check in was an awful experience. We waited nearly half an hour at the door buzzing to get in and got no response. Breakfast is a tray of sealed food left in the room. The shower was mouldy and blocked after use and the air conditioner only came on in the evening.

This is a scam. There is no staff, working phone number or address... the "Hotel" is a door behind an outdoor cafe that opens to a stairway to a door requiring a code... no code given and no staff, the phone number provided did not work and "Chat" communication had noone on the other side to respond. It took 2 hours to find the "address" and had nowher for me and my family to sleep. I had no alternative other than to find another place to sleep.

Location is AMAZING. The facility is old, and in turn smells old. The real problem was advertised AC and it is locked. You’re unable to turn on. When asking staff to turn it on, they don’t as they are always unavailable and limited hours. It literally ruined our trip. We were sweaty and miserable the entire time.

Our stay at Soggiorno Antica Torre could not have been more magical. Situated perfectly, all the sights and sounds of Florence were just steps away. Without a doubt we would return again and again!

I strongly advise avoiding this hotel. They falsely advertise laundry service but do not provide any laundry facilities or service whatsoever. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely rude and difficult to reach. When I called ahead to inform them I was coming, no one answered or was present at the property. I was forced to wait approximately 25 minutes outside before I could even enter the building. The front desk staff were consistently short, unhelpful, and borderline argumentative. When I inquired about using the air conditioning (as there is a sign instructing guests to call for permission), they rarely answered the phone and, when they did, informed me that I was not allowed to use it. Instead, they suggested opening a window. This policy appears to apply regardless of the season, based on other guest reports, and I have no reason to doubt it. The so-called "complimentary breakfast" is misleading. It consists of stale, packaged food items placed on a plate in the room,barely qualifying as a meal. Additionally, there are drinks in the mini-fridge that appear to be complimentary. However, if you consume any of them, you will be charged without prior notice. The management is notably rude and quick to accuse guests. For example, when I reported that a glass left in my room was already broken upon arrival, the staff member immediately claimed that I had broken it, despite my explanation. Overall, this is a very poorly run establishment with unprofessional service.

Great location. Our host, Simona, was only there in the mornings. This is not a full service hotel. There is no laundry service and we were given directions to the laundromat down the street. Be careful of which room you take. Our windows faced the back courtyard of two restaurants (courtyards for storage, etc) and these were noisy late into the night. There is an elevator, but the first long flight of stairs you carry up your bag before you reach the elevator. This can be good because of location and price.

The room was clean, staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Having a breakfast included in our room was so nice rack day. Simona was the friendly face that greeted us each morning. Even through the language barrier she was always happy to help. Phenomenal location!!!

I booked this holiday for my parents and we loved how everything was a walkable distance. Simona was lovely and an amazing help to us. We definitely want to stay here again.

It was in a great location. Plenty of shops and restaurants right outside the door. The staff was excellent. I think our hosts name was Simona and she was so sweet and we communicated through a translation app. Thank you for a great stay with you. Tony & Betty M
