I recently stayed at Ahyu Hotel in Malaysia for a short trip, and it was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic – you're surrounded by tons of restaurants, fast-food spots, and cozy cafes, making it super easy to grab a bite anytime without venturing far. It's perfect if you love exploring local eats on foot. That said, the moment I entered my room, I was hit with a quite unpleasant smell that lingered throughout my stay. It was off-putting and made the space feel less inviting, despite the decent cleanliness otherwise. Nonetheless, it was nice to stay here overall. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the value for money was solid given the prime spot. I'd return if they freshen up the rooms, but it's a good budget option for location-driven travelers.

We loved it here! it’s near the monorail station and the room itself was very clean. will be staying here if we’ll be back in KL! hotel location: near chow kit

I had a great stay at Santa Grand Signature KL. Although I initially needed to ask the staff to change the bed sheets upon arrival (as they were stained), the hotel staff were very accommodating in allowing us an early check-in and late check-out. The room itself was modern and clean, although simple and minimalist in its furnishings (for example, there was no cupboard for clothes, only a rack). Breakfast was really tasty with many options, but I especially loved the fresh roti and omelette station, as well as the noodle soup station.

Ceylonz Suites was comfortable, clean, and super convenient, close to pretty much all the places you’d want to visit. The amenities were complete, everything felt safe and well-maintained, and it honestly made the stay easy and stress-free. Would definitely stay here again. Loved my stay!
