Saker att göra i Diamond Head

My parents and my father-in-law and I took the bus driven by Mr. Oli. They are quite elderly, and by that point in the trip, they were starting to feel tired. However, they were very satisfied with the trolley tour along the Hawaiian coast, enjoying the cool breeze. Throughout the ride, Mr. Oli provided many explanations and shared interesting stories about the main points of interest, making it a very enjoyable time.

It was a wonderful experience! The boat moved faster than I expected. When I went out on the deck, it was a bit windy, but the American flag was waving, and I was able to take some great photos. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset, but we did see a beautiful evening sky. After that, we saw the Waikiki night view from the ocean, which is a rare sight. And the fireworks were beautiful too. The food was delicious, and the hula dance show was powerful and very good. I highly recommend participating if you visit Hawaii.

Till en början kom bussen till mötesplatsen 15 minuter för sent. Oron fanns bara där i början. Gratis malasadas, magnifik natur och vackra vyer, Dole Plantation, snorkling för att titta på havssköldpaddor, fantastiska vitlöksräkor, inspelningsplatserna för Jurassic Park – allt var så fullspäckat att de 10 timmarna flög förbi. Vår reseledare Dirk verkade ha arbetat som engelsklärare i Tokyo och talade flytande japanska. Eftersom alla förutom vi var utlänningar var guidningen på engelska, men när han pratade med oss gjorde han det på flytande japanska. Han talade det tillräckligt bra för att kunna dra skämt. Det var vår första resa till Hawaii, och vi funderar på att åka dit igen inom kort.

The Guide John W. (David) was FANTASTIC! We learnt a lot from him, as he told us a lot about Hawaii during the tour. The tour finished early at 3.30pm, so clearly it was possible to add quick 5-minute photo stops for some of the places we only drove past. It is sad that there are too many drive past sights
