Denna vistelse på Floating Cloud Hotel i Taichung var en mycket tillfredsställande upplevelse, som helt uppfyllde kraven på bekvämlighet, renlighet och komfort. Det är ett utmärkt hotell som jag gärna skulle återvända till nästa gång jag besöker Taichung. 🏢 Höjdpunkter från boendet: Oöverträffad bekvämlighet: En av hotellets största fördelar är dess läge! Det tar bara några minuter att promenera till Fengjia nattmarknad, vilket gör det superbekvämt för mat, dryck och shopping. Trots närheten till marknaden är hotellet lugnt och ostört från nattmarknadens liv och rörelse. This is a very well-designed hotel. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are also roomy, clean, and cozy! The hotel's common areas are perfect for relaxing, especially the large slide from the second floor to the first, which instantly brings out your inner child. Although breakfast isn't a buffet, the set meal is exquisite and delicious, which is also great.

The location is very convenient for those driving, as it's right next to Chaoma Station and near the highway interchange. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the front desk staff provides excellent service. Qiu Hong Gu Park and Ichiran Ramen are nearby, and Fengjia Night Market is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

I'm very particular about accommodations, and this place was incredibly satisfying. First, the location was excellent; I could walk to the Yizhong Street Night Market, and there were two convenience stores, a 7-Eleven and a FamilyMart, right in front, which was very convenient. Most other tourist attractions, except for Fengjia Night Market, were within 2km, so I could easily walk or take an Uber. The room's cleanliness and condition were excellent, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept soundly. Just in case, I brought a shower filter from Daiso, but there was no discoloration or foreign matter for two days. The water was genuinely clean and good, which I was very happy about. Also, the toilet and shower booth were perfectly separated, which was a big plus. The soundproofing seemed good too; it was quiet throughout my stay. There was a hot water dispenser, so I could easily buy cup noodles from the convenience store and eat them comfortably. The breakfast was also clean and pleasantly delicious. It was great to start the morning fresh with a salad. And the best part was the staff member who spoke Korean incredibly well, making it easy to ask questions about various things. The tall male staff member also kindly called a taxi to the airport for me and helped load all my luggage, which was wonderful. The hotel's interior was unique and luxurious, and I was delighted to stay here for such a reasonable price. If I visit Taichung again, I will definitely book this place without hesitation!

Every evening, there's a late-night snack service. I had grass jelly, chicken rice (a very generous portion), and meat dumplings, all of which were delicious. The room was spacious, and the bathroom and toilet were separate. The drinks and snacks in the room's refrigerator were replenished daily.

The hotel has two buildings. There's a uBike station right outside, and if you're lucky, you can even rent an electric-assist bike. Please note that all facilities have specific operating hours and some require reservations, so it's best to plan ahead to avoid rushing. The rooftop features a swimming pool, spa, and sauna. The front desk provides large towels before you enter the water. You can bring your own swimwear and water toys; there's an electric inflator and a spin dryer available (next to self-service coin-operated washing machines), as well as showers and hair dryers. There's also a gym. Another floor has billiards and table tennis, which require reservations. Breakfast is generally included with your stay, depending on the number of guests and room type. You can enter starting at 6:30 AM. On weekends, entry is staggered by time slots. It seems the later you go for breakfast on weekends, the more crowded it gets. There's a wide variety of food, and you can definitely eat your fill. In addition to starches like fried rice, congee, and bread, there are eggs, meats, vegetables, fruits, yogurt, and salads. They also have kid-friendly options like fries, mini hot dogs, and cream waffles. Guests receive a 20% discount on dinner. It gets very busy, and the dinner ingredients are diverse and plentiful, featuring flavors that are very familiar to most Taiwanese people. The restaurant service is excellent! Servers constantly clear used plates from tables, and food is replenished very quickly. At dinner, the sashimi chef cuts fish on-site, and hand rolls are made to order. You can have a very satisfying meal. The air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted from within the room, and one side of the AC vent cannot be opened or closed (I felt like only one of the two vents was blowing cold air, while the other wasn't, leading to a large space where only one corner was very cold). This might make it difficult to adjust the temperature to your personal preference for sleeping at night, potentially feeling too cold or too hot depending on individual habits. However, the lights and AC were already on when we checked in and when we returned from going out, so we didn't have to unpack in a hot room, which was great! The hotel front desk staff are all very professional, friendly, and polite.

The location is a bit average, and it's not accessible by public transportation, so you have to drive yourself. The surrounding amenities are also just okay, with convenience stores and restaurants being a bit far. The environment is clean, tidy, and quiet. The staff are friendly and polite.

The room is clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and has plenty of charging outlets. The gym includes treadmills and exercise bikes, and there are also laundry and drying machines next to a business room. The lobby offers complimentary refreshments and snacks. Booking with a Klook discount coupon was a great deal!
