Hotell nära Bang Tao Beach

This location is absolutely fantastic. The beach is the cleanest one out of our whole stay in Thailand. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The only downside to this remote gem is that it’s a bit far from a city center (or 7 Eleven, as they’d call it 💕).

I almost wanted to cancel my booking at Ma Doo Bua seeing all the online furore it has garnered. I’m so glad I didn’t. Everything at Ma Doo Bua - from the staff to the food and the rooms - was sublime. After all, how bad can the service be when it’s the land of a thousand smiles we are talking about? Thumbs up for Ma Doo Bua!

Although I only stayed for one night, the service was incredibly comfortable. I was also very satisfied with their help in arranging a birthday surprise. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Phuket.

Good resort with lovely beach and lots of kids activities. But many vegetarian options though for breakfast.. Also kids pool was closed during lunch ur time for maintenance which was a shame.

The entire experience was wonderful, from the moment we drove in and the door opened, to the check-in area, and then to our room. Everything was so peaceful, and the staff's smiles made us feel very welcome. The environment was beautiful, with large windows overlooking many trees, which was very relaxing for the eyes. The place isn't huge, and there aren't too many facilities – just a small gym, a spa, an outdoor pool, and three restaurants. The equipment in the gym was quite old and insufficient. We didn't get to use the spa. Outside, there was also a small rectangular pool, but the water looked quite dirty. The outdoor pool was the most comfortable, with beanbags available for floating. The Italian restaurant happened to be closed on Sundays and Mondays, so we only got to enjoy the other two restaurants. One was an international restaurant; the food was decent, though a bit pricey. A pad Thai cost 490 baht++, and certain drinks were half price from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The other, 360 Restaurant, was located at the highest point on the hill, offering a comfortable view of the sunset. The food there was also delicious, serving Japanese cuisine. It was a bit expensive for Thailand, with a plate of eel sushi costing 320 baht++. Once you're here, you won't want to explore other places because it's quite remote. The resort offers some paid classes, but there's only one session per day, mainly cooking. It would be nicer if there were yoga classes. They also have some paid one-day tours, but due to limited time, we didn't join. They are more expensive than booking outside, but convenient. Upon check-in, you need to download an app for use during your stay. The information provided was good, but it wasn't effective for communication as no one responded. I mainly called for the buggy.

It's very beautiful, and the weather has been wonderful these past few days. All the hotel staff are friendly and smiling, and there's a wide variety of breakfast options. The swimming pool is a bit small, but it's still quite nice. Overall, everything is good, you just have to accept that the rooms are a bit older.
