It was an enjoyable trip thanks not only to the excellent wine but also to Ika’s informative and engaging explanations about the history of the region. If you’re visiting Sighnaghi, I highly recommend spending your free time on a cart tour. It costs just 20 GEL and is a comfortable way to explore the town. The wine tasting was excellent, and we also enjoyed buying and trying a few snacks and pastries from the stops at the local snack shop and bakery along the way.
