I highly recommend this activity with if you want an authentic and great food experience 😊 Our guide told us to call him “Uncle Busan,” which I thought was really cute. During the market tour he explained Korean food culture, and since my companion and I are vegan, he pointed us to vegan foods and warned us about dishes that looked vegan but weren’t. The market is bustling, so he told us to take photos of anything we wanted to ask about and later answered every last question. After the tour we took the subway to the cooking place. Uncle Busan showed us how to prepare the ingredients and then we cooked one meal at a time out of the three dishes we picked beforehand. After every meal we took a break to enjoy it before continuing to the next one, which made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. All three meals were delicious… or “mashisoyo” as Uncle Busan taught us 😝 At the end he gave us containers for leftovers and a nice welcome gift bag. I definitely recommend this experience!
Uncle is so funny! we had a really enjoyable and fun class. going through the markets and learning about the different foods in Korea was great, then we went to cook in a quiet environment. Uncle taught us a more home style method of cooking which was exactly what we wanted and offered us the leftovers to take for dinner. if you have the chance to support small and local businesses in Korea, definitely book in this class. You get to learn about the foods you are making and also the recipes to take home for later when you want to make on your own. We will be recommending to anyone that comes through Busan! 100% authentic and genuine experience, 10/10!
expérience: A super instructive and fun cooking class after discovering the market ! I ended up with so much food at the end I could stretch it for 2-3 meals. I'll definitely remember these recipes for home. équipement: there was plenty of equipment and space for the three of us present. instructeur/instructrice: good at explaining the how and why, even gave us some freebies :)
Highly recommend this class! We had a great time and Suyang was so friendly and accommodating. Great tour of the markets and we made DELICIOUS food in the class, with plenty to take home for our dinner too! 10/10 stars, absolutely loved our experience 😁🌟
Bushan Samcheon was very warm and hospitable. He contacted us a few days before the event to understand the dishes we wanted to make. He also gave clear instructions on where to meet on the morning of the event He is a very interesting instructor for the cooking class. It’s easy to follow and delicious tasting even though he is not a chef. He makes the class so enjoyable with his humourous and friendly personality. He not only taught us Korean dishes but also shared some history of Korea. He went the extra mile to hail a cab for us for our departure. Overall, my friend and I had such a wonderful time with him.
